Fitness Run

Comments: Once again, instead of continuing with a great routine and real gains, I take another hiatus for various and sundry reasons that seem pretty stupid in retrospect. As a result, I got exactly what I deserved with this run.

Things started off well enough. The first two miles were right over my usual baseline of 9 min/mi pace but after the turnaround it got tough fast. I made an effort to keep the pace up in mile three but, by the end of it, I knew I was just trying to hang on and finish the thing.

Which I did. And, somehow, kept the last mile under the ten minute mark. Anyway. Nowhere to go but up.
